I have accepted her death now but as you must know it is difficult. It is not the first dog I have lost and it wont be the last I am afraid. It is heartbreaking.
 
It was completely fate that allowed it to happen. She came into our lives by accident and left the same way.
 
She taught me so much in a very little time.
 
In my job I collect stray dogs off the street. I have collected 15-20 dogs this month and they never ever get hit by a car.
My girl only went to the end of the street. But as you know they are so small she stood no chance.
I got her at 5 months old and she had the most terrible nerves. She had been completeley unsocialised. She was from a puppy farm. (i am glad you are featuring puppy farms on your website.)
She was kept locked in a caravan until 5 months. had never seen people, streets and day to day life. I have never seen a dog in such pure fear. I had her for 10 months and I was really getting somewhere but it wasnt meant to be. At least she had a good 10 months with us. I dont believe I will ever see a dog again that is as frightened of everything with absolutely no trust for anything exept Milly the whippet whom she adored.
 
I am glad I do not live any where near the breeder. I have never actually met them but I have told them over the phone that they are a disgrace and they should never breed again. They have the worst reputation in the UK for Italian Greyhounds. They also breed Bulldogs and Chihuahuas. All the big money breeds.
 
I have two more Italian Greyhounds expected in the new year.
This will never happen again but you cannot beat or change what is meant to be.
